The Iraqi security forces have detained 80 elements of ISIS terror group in western Ramadi, the security committee in Anbar Provincial Council announced on Sunday.

The Chairman of the security committee Rajeh Barakat al-Eissawi said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces managed to arrest 80 ISIS fighters after examining the information of the civilians who were evacuated from the areas of Znkura, Modern Village, and the areas near Heet District in western Ramadi.”

Eissawi added, “The security information affirmed that ISIS terrorist militants in the districts of Heet and Kabisa shaved their beards in preparation to escape to Syria.”
