1533: The wise, pious and moral speeches of Imam Musa al-Kazim (a.s): part one

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
1- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
Indeed Allah is having two proofs upon human being; they are outward and inward proof; the outward proof is the Prophets and the Imams while the inward proof is the senses. (Al-Kafi vol: 1 pg: 16).
2- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
There is no religion for he who don’t possess manhood and there is no manhood for he who don’t have sense and the greatest person is he that doesn’t see the dangerousness of this world to himself, but as for your body, it doesn’t have any worth except Paradise and don’t sell it for other than it. (Al-Kafi vol: 1 pg: 19).
3- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
If a believer dies the angels, and the places he used in worshipping Allah, and the gate in the heaven which his deeds pass through weep for him. Meanwhile his death shall be a hole that nothing fills it because a believer is fortification of Islam just as fortification of the fence for a city. (Wasa’il Shi’ah vol: 3 pg: 284).
4- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
Little deed of a scholar is accepted with multiplication but plenty deeds of those that follow his selfish interest and the ignorant are rejected. (Al-Kafi vol: 1 pg: 17).
5- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
A miser is he that is misery of what Allah has made incumbent for him (Tuhfal Uqul: 431).
6- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) stood by a grave and said:
It is better not to attach to this world which its ending is like this, so it is better from beginning that we should fear its ending. (Tuhfal Uqul: 432).
7- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
Good neighborhood is not when you don’t cause havoc to your neighbor but good neighborhood is when you are perseverance with your neighbor’s havoc. (Tuhfal Uqul: 432).
8- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
Three people shall be under the shadow of Allah on the Day of Judgment, the day where there shall be no shade except that of Allah, they are: A man that enable his Muslim brother to get married; a man that render assistance to his Muslim brother and a man that hide the secret of his Muslim brother. (Wasa’il Shi’ah vol: 20 pg: 46).
9- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
The similitude of this world is like a snake that touching it is soft but deadly poison is in its throat, a sensible men take care of it while children goes to it with their hands. (Tuhfal Uqul: 417).
10- Imam Musa bn Ja’far (peace be upon them) said:
Your assistance to the weak ones is the best almsgiving. (Tuhfal Uqul: 437).
