1532: The wise, pious and moral speeches of Imam Sadiq (a.s): part four

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful

31- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Every Riya’u (outlook praise) is regarded as associating partner with Allah, definitely whoever works for people receives his reward from people and whoever works for Allah shall receives his reward from Allah. (Al-Kafi vol: 2 pg: 293).

32- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Muslim is brother to another muslim, he serves him as his eye, his mirror and his proof, he don’t betray him, he don’t oppress him, he don’t tell lies against him and he don’t backbit him. (Al-Kafi vol: 2 pg: 166).

33- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Whoever recite the glorification of Fatimah (peace be upon her) in his obligatory prayers before he takes his right leg from the top of his left leg shall have all his sins forgiven meanwhile he should commence the glorification with Allahu Akbar. (Al-Kafi vol: 3 pg: 343).

34- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Our intercession shall not include those that neglected their prayers. (Amali by Suduq, 73^rd sitting, the 10^th hadith).

35- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Beware of going to the Mosques because it is Allah’s house on earth, whoever comes into it with purification, Allah shall purifies him from his sins and he will be written among his visitor, so go there in mass for prayer and supplication and pray in various places because each of the place shall bear witness for those that pray on it in the day of Judgment. (Amali by Suduq, 57^th  sitting, the 8^th hadith).

36- It was said to Abi Abdullah (peace be upon him) may I be a sacrifice for you, we are mentioning your name and that of your great fathers, would that benefits us?

He said: To God it will, is religion other than love? (Nuruthaqalain vol: 1 pg: 227).

37- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Whoever abstain from giving the Zakat (alms giving) in his life time shall seek for returning to this world after his death. He also said: whoever prevent giving a carat of Zakat (alms giving) must either die as a Jew or as a Christian. (Iqabul A’mal pg: 534).

38- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Do well to your father so that your children do well to you and gaze your sight from people’s women so that people also gaze their sight from your wife. (Tuhfal Uqul pg: 377).

39- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

Verily the servant is having break and free space until he attain the age of forty when Allah shall inspire to His two Angels that this servant of Mine has live to this age, so from now onward be severe and be hard with him and write all his deeds whether its little or many or small or big. (Al-Kafi vol: 8 pg: 108).

40- Abu Abdullah al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

If a believer dies and forty men among the believers punctual at his burial gathering and they said: O’ Allah! We are not aware anything from him except good behavior but O’ Allah You knew better than us; Allah the most High shall said: I have endorsed your testimony for him and have forgiven him for what I knew of him which you don’t know. (Wasa’il Shi’ah vol: 2 pg: 925).
