Shia human rights watch organisation asked the international committee supervising the anti-torture charter to combat the torture of Shia Muslims which are on the increase. The statement by the Shia human rights watch published on its website asked the international anti-torture committee to fight against the new increasing phenomenon of Shia torture in some Middle-Eastern and European countries. The statement also mentioned that the oppressive actions against Shia Muslims are anti-human and against the anti-torture conventions. The Shia human rights watch pointed to oppressive measures taken against Shia Muslims in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain as clear examples and demanded from the international anti-torture organisation to end all violence against Shias throughout the world.
