Iran Revolution heralds season of resistance
“The main aim, victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran accomplished, was reviving the mores of Islamic society,” said one of Jorgolan Sunni Scholars.
Haj Akhound Samadi, one of Friday Prayer Leaders from Jorgolan, in making the remarks with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) expressed his lines on the role of Islamic Revolution of Iran in the present Muslims’ resistance.
“The main aim the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (RA), accomplished was reviving the mores of Islamic society and clipping the wings of arrogant world and its puppets in the country,” the religious cleric spotlighted.
In referring to Iranian inroads reaped by the Islamic Republic of Iran thus far, the religious Sunni pundit stressed that the marvels of Iranian progress raised the eyebrow of the world which, in turn, turned the country to the front line of resistance for other Muslim nations.
The most Iranian venerated revolutionary face, Imam Khomeini (RA) “abided by the teachings of holy book of Quran,” said the Haj Akhound Samadi stating that Imam Khomeini with his exemplary leadership is an Islamic Awakening Model for all Muslim nations.
The victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran and its profound effect heralds the season of resistance and to Jorgolan Friday Prayer Leader, “the very event gave Muslim nations incentive to stand against the stooges of U.S.”
“As we observe in some Muslims countries such as Egypt and Libya, people are relying on their own discretion, making the enemies leave their lands,” said the religious cleric.
Muslims are well on the way to progress, given that “Iran gave far and away the most successful model of Islamic Revolution to people worldwide,” Haj Akhound Samadi pointed out.
The religious cleric paid homage to the Late Imam Khomeini (RA) while stressing the importance of marking his death anniversary.
Haj Akhound Samadi beckoned to the day and underscored, “The late Imam Khomeini (RA) gave over his life for bringing social justice and we are shouldered to appreciate what he has done.”
It was 24 years ago that Imam Khomeini passed away, leaving behind a legacy of Muslim unity and active resistance to oppression, a legacy which continues to resonate with Muslims today.
Ayatollah Khomeini passed away on June 3, 1989, eleven days after he was taken to hospital for an operation to stop internal bleeding in May 1989.
Iranians across the country and outside Iran hold mourning ceremonies to mark the departure of Imam Khomeini.
