Russian Air Force raids militants in east Ghouta
The Russian Air Force does not often carry out airstrikes in the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus; however, when they receive direct coordinates of terrorists positions in the area, their jets take the opportunity to strike the militants.
Russian Air Force attacked terrorists positions in the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus after they received direct coordinates; however, it doesn't often carry out airstrikes in the region.
On Tuesday night, the Russian Air Force received intelligence reports regarding Jaysh Al-Islam's movements around the East Ghouta towns of Douma and Shifouniyah.
Using this information to pinpoint Jaysh Al-Islam's positions, the Russian Air Force carried out two airstrikes in Douma and Shifouniyah, killing and wounding a large number of terrorist rebels after achieving direct hits on their targets.
The Russian Air Force typically carries out these type of airstrikes because of their ability to zero-in on specific targets; they did the same thing in Khan Al-Sheih and Dirkhabiyeh before they were surrendered to the Syrian Arab Army.
