Velayati: Resistance Victories in Aleppo Broke the Arrogance

The head of Iranian Strategic Research Center of the Expediency complex, Ali Akbar Velayati, said that Syria’s Aleppo is a strategic area in the West Asia region, stressing that the victories achieved by the resistance in the province broke the backbone of the arrogance and the US in the Middle East.

Speaking to reporters in the Iranian city of Mashhad, Velayati said Syria is a golden ring of the Resistance chain against the Zionists and their protectors, underlying that the West and the Zionists and their proxies in the region were holding hope in control of Aleppo because it would make it easy for them to enter other areas of Syria.

The Iranian official expressed hopes that similar victories by Resistance would be achieved in the near future in the remaining parts of Syria and the Iraqi city of Mosul.
