Baghdadi demands Peshmerga forces to halt war
The leader of the ISIS has demanded the Peshmerga forces to cease the war against the group in Mosul.
According to a number of Iraqi news outlets, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the ISIS leader, has sent a request to the Peshmerga forces through Arab tribal leaders in Nineveh province to halt the fight against the organization.
Baghdadi has suggested that if Peshmerga halts the fight, the ISIS militants will vacate Mosul and move to Syria with their weapons and money.
Peshmerga forces have recently inflicted the ISIS organization with severe damage and the militants' morale has waned due to the ongoing extensive operations of Peshmerga against the group. Militants have reportedly started fleeing with their families to Syria.
