1543: The wise, pious and moral speeches of Imam Jawad (a.s): part three
In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
21- Imam Muhammad Taqi’ul Jawad (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever benefits a brother in Islam in the ways of Allah shall benefit from a house in the Paradise. (Mausu’ah Imam al-Jawad (a.s.) volume: 2, page: 352).
22- It was said to him (peace be upon him): why those Muslims hates death?
He (peace be upon him) said: because they are ignorant of it so they hates it, had it been they knows it and they were among the intimate friends of Allah they could have love it and they could have knew that hereafter is better than this world, then he (peace be upon him) said: O’ Aba Abdullah! How about children and an insane man that refuses to take drug that cure his body and negates pains from him? He said: it is because of their ignorance of the benefit of the drug.
He (peace be upon him) said: to Allah who has truly raised Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) as Prophet, whoever has truly prepared for death is more beneficial to him than drugs that is given to a sick person, but had they know the outcome of death that it is like felicity they would have seriously call for it with love more than how a sensible man call for drugs in order to fight his sickness and call for healthiness.
23- He (peace be upon him) said:
Indeed whoever supports the orphans of the household of Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny) that were cut from their leader, confused in ignorance, captives in the hands of Satan and our staunch enemies; save them and retrieve them from their confusion and the compulsion of the Satan, subdued the staunch enemy with the proof of their Lord and that of their leaders (Imams) to become virtuous before Allah upon other servant just like the virtue of the heaven upon the earth and the holy Throne upon the holy Chair; indeed the virtue of a scholar upon a worshipper is like that of the moon upon the stars on the heaven.
24- He (peace be upon him) said:
The favor that is not gratify is like unforgiveable evil.
25- He (peace be upon him) said:
It suffices for a man to be a betrayer by becoming a royalist to a betrayer.
26- He (peace be upon him) said:
It was said to Muhammad Ibn Ali (peace be upon him): what is death?
He said: it is like the sleeping that comes to you every night except that death is longer and one will not wake up from it till the Day of Judgment. (Allamah Majlisi, Bihar al-Anwar volume: 6, page: 155).
27- He (peace be upon him) said:
To intend Allah the Most High with mind is better than to make your joints tired with duties to Him.
28- He (peace be upon him) said:
Don’t be in an enmity with anyone except you know what is between him and Allah the Most High; if he is a good person definitely He will not submit him to you but if he is a bad person, your knowledge to that suffice him and don’t be in enmity with him.
29- He (peace be upon him) said:
Definitely he who follows his interest and debars you from guidance has caused an enmity to you.
30- He (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever is not happy with the good intention of his Muslim brother would not be happy with his gift.
