1542: The wise, pious and moral speeches of Imam Jawad (a.s): part two
In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
11- Imam Jawad (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever works without knowledge destroys more than he repairs.
12- He (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever follows his desire has accomplished the hope of his enemy.
13- He (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever leave good relation with people is accompanied with annoyance; whoever did not know how to start a work will have his way out closed beore him; whoever did not think of the side effect of any work before he starts it has throw himself into destruction.
14- He (peace be upon him) said:
Trust in Allah is the price of every expensive things and it is an elevator to all high places.
15- He (peace be upon him) said:
Don’t be a friend to Allah outwardly and His enemy inwardly.
16- He (peace be upon him) said:
The prestige of a believer is his sufficiency from people. (Bihar al-Anwar volume: 75, page: 109, the 12th hadith).
17- He (peace be upon him) said:
No one visit my father (peace be upon him) and was affected with rain or cold or heat except Allah prohibits his body from entering hellfire.
(Although it is clearly known that the journey must be with the intention of visitation to Imam and not for excursion. The holy household have said that visitation to them must be with cognizance of the Imam, i.e. you must recognize Imam as a person incumbent to be followed and the successor of the holy Prophet).
18- He (peace be upon him) said:
A person that climbs up on his desire and passion is not free from its stumbling.
19- He (peace be upon him) said:
With days and pass of time the secret become obvious.
20- Imam Jawad (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever visit the tomb of my aunt (Hadrat Ma’sumah) in Qom is entitle to Paradise. (Kamil al-Ziyarat: 536, hadith number 827).
