The ISIL Takfiri terrorist group has reportedly transferred dozens of people from eastern Syria to assist it in battle.
The group took the reinforcement from the Syrian city of Deir al-Zour to assist it to combat security forces, the Iraqi satellite TV network Al Sumaria reported, citing Syrian activists as saying on Saturday.
The activists said the group brought the Deir al-Zour residents “to participate in battles on different fronts, including the Iraqi forces and the [Kurdish] Peshmerga," referring to Kurdish fighters.
ISIL controls parts of Iraq and Syria. The terrorists are engaged in crimes against humanity in the areas under their control. They have terrorized and killed people of all communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, and Christians.
Soldiers of the Iraqi army have been engaged in heavy fighting with the militants on different fronts and have so far been able to push back militants in several areas.
