Top Iraqi Shia Scholar: Imam Khamenei Saved Karbala People’s Lives

According to Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA), Ahlul Bayt World Assembly’s Secretary General and his company visited Ayatollah Sayyed Mortada Al-Qazwini, a Great Scholar in Karbala and Imam of Imam Hussain’s holy Shrine, in their trip to Karbala.
Thanking Islamic Republic’s help to Iraq in fighting Takfiri Terrorists, Ayatollah Al-Qazwini, in this meeting, said: We thank the Supreme Leader and the Iranian Officials; Our forces could deliver the southern cities from Takfiri Wolves only because of Iran’s help and weapons.
Stressing on takfiri terrorists backed by Saudi and Wahhabis, he added: Daesh (ISIS) were going to attack Karbala from both sides. If they arrived in Karbala, they would repeat the atrocities as Wahhabis committed in their both past invasions. But, thanks God, Iran defended us and “Jurf Al Nasr” was freed.
The grand Ayatollah addressing Ahlul Bayt World Assembly’s Secretary General, Ayatollah Akhtari, explained that: I want you to thank the Supreme Leader on behalf of Shias of Iraq and Karbala and tell him: “ you saved millions of lives in Karbala and Iraq”. And I say it, without any exaggeration and flattery.
Hinting at the axis of resistance in different countries, he said: at the present time, a politician, intelligent, courageous and profound person like "Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah," who has the Islamic Republic’s support, is rattling in Lebanon, and even his speeches are so effective that each of his sentences should be analyzed. In Syria too, America, Israel and Arab Rulers want to topple “Bashar al-Assad” but they can’t. In Yemen as well, we see that Shias have risen to power.
