1529: The wise, pious and moral speeches of Imam Sadiq (a.s): part one

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
1- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever wants our speeches for the benefit of this world shall not have any portion in the last day and whoever wants it for the benefit of the last day, Allah shall give him the goodness in this world and the hereafter.
2- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
Beware and be cognizant in the religion of Allah and don’t be like the Arab villagers because he who is not cognizance of the religion of Allah, Allah shall not show him His mercy likewise He shall not purifies their works.
3- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
I wish my companions should whip their heads till they deeply understand the religion.
4- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
Our followers are examined with three things:
- During the time for prayer (salat) how they have keep it up;
- Concerning their secret how they have kept it from our enemy;
- And how have they consoled their brothers with their wealth.
5- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
The dignity of human being is greater than the Ka’abah. (al-Khisal chp: 1, pg: 95).
6- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
I hope for the rescue of those that knows our right in this nation except the following three peoples:
The tyrant authority; those that follow their selfish interest and those that commit sin outwardly. (Tuhfal Uqul, pg: 373).
7- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
Three things are complaining to Almighty Allah:
The ravage mosque which its people didn’t pray in it;
The scholar that stays in the midst of the ignorant without exercising his knowledge;
And the holy Qur’an that was covered with dust as it is hanging without reading. (al-Khisal, vol: 1, pg: 142).
8- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
The first item which the servant is accountable to in the Day of Judgment is (salat) prayer, if it is accepted the other acts shall be accepted and if it is rejected, the other acts shall be rejected. (Manlayahdurhul faqeeh, vol: 1, pg: 134).
9- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
If you want to know whether your Prayer is accepted or not, you should observe whether your prayer has prevented you from doing evil; the extent it has prevented you was accepted from you. (Bihar al-Anwar vol: 82, pg: 198).
10- Imam Jafar bn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever visits a sick person would be accompanied with 70,000 Angels that will be seeking forgiveness for him till he return back to his house. (Al-kafi vol: 3, pg: 120, hadith: 2).
