1524: The wise, pious and moral speeches of Imam Sajjad (a.s): part four

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
31- Imam Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) us to say:
The best way of knowing the perfection of religion of a Muslim is to stop involving himself in an issue that didn’t concerns him, less argument, to be wise, to be patient and to be of good moral. (Tuhfal Uqul, pg: 320).
32- Imam Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) said:
Being in the company of the good ones brings usefulness and the nature of the scholars is to increase their senses and following the Just leaders is the entire dignity, to invest ones wealth is the entire manhood, guiding those that consult you is executing the right of favor; avoiding detriment is perfection of senses and there will be comfort of the body in that sooner or later. (al-Kafi, vol: 1, pg: 20).
33- Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) said:
There is no consideration for the Quraish and the Arab except with respect; likewise there is no dignity except by mindful of duty to Allah; there is no act except with intention. Be aware that the most dislike human being to Allah is he who follow a leader and didn’t follow his acts. (Khisal ch: 1, hadith: 62).
34- Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) said:
Nice speech enriches the wealth and increases the provision, it increases your lifespan, and make person to be love before his family and shall enable you to enter Paradise. (Khisal, ch: 5, hadith 100).
35- A man in his presence said: O’ Allah suffice me from Your creatures. He (peac be upon him) said: it is not so because people are dependable to each other, but you should say: O’ Allah suffice me from the evils of Your creatures. (Tuhfal Uqul pg: 285).
36- Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) said:
Verily repentance is to act and desist from a certain behavior and it is not by mere talking. (Kashful Ghumah, vol: 2, pg: 101).
37- Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) said:
Whoever desists from what Allah has forbidden for him is the best servant of Allah among the people. (Amali by Shk. Mufid, pg: 184).
38- Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) said:
O’ the children of Adam! You shall still remain good and healthy if you still admonish yourself, and self accountability is your worries, and fear of your ending is your slogan, and sadness is your dresses. O’ the children of Adam! Definitely you shall die and shall be resurrected to stand before Allah and you shall be responsible for your entire act, so prepare the answer for the question. (Amali by Mufid, pg: 110, hadith: 10).
39- It was reported from Abi Hamzah Thumali that Abi Jafar (peace be upon him) told him:
When my father {Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them)} was about to die, he embraces me and said: O’ my son, be patient and be with the truth even if it is bitter, definitely your rewards shall be given to you without any accountability.
40- Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) said:
O’ Allah! Send Your blessing to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad….. keep me alive so far I still remain at Your service, and take away my life at any time it is set to serve the Satan before Your wrath descend upon me. (Sahifah Sajjadiyah the twentieth supplication [Makarimul Akhlaq]).
