1522: The wise, pious and moral speeches of Imam Sajjad (a.s): part two

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful
11- Imam Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) said:
Three hours are the toughest hours for the children of Adam:
The time he will envisage the angel of death; the time he shall be resurrected from his grave; and the time he will stand upright before Almighty Allah when he shall either go to Paradise or to Hellfire. (al-Khisal ch: 3 hadith: 108)

12- Imam Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) said:
I am surprise for someone that take care of what he consumed in order to prevent damages and did not take care from committing sin in order to prevent its detriments. (Kashfful Gummah vol: 2 pg: 107).

13- Imam Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) said:
I am wonder of a boastful arrogant who was a sperm yesterday and will be carcass tomorrow;
The most wonderful is he who doubted the existence of Allah while seeing His creatures;
I am wonder of he who denies the resurrection while witnessing the initial creation;
I am wonder of he who works for the vanishing abode and desist from working for the eternal abode. (Amali by Tusi sitting 35, hadith 31).

14- On the authority of Abi Hamzah al-Thumali (r.a.), he reported from Ali bn Husain Zainul Abideen (peace be upon them) that one day he said to his companion:
My brothers! I advise you to be mindful of the abode of the last day and I will not advise of the abode of this world because you are desirous and cling to it. Doesn’t it came to you what Isa bn Maryam (peace be upon them) has said to the apostles?
He said to them:
The world is a pole, so cross it and don’t develop it, and said: can anyone of you build a house on top of wave of the ocean? So don’t take the abode of this world as a place of station. (Amali by Majlisi: the 6th sitting, hadith 1).

15- Ali bn Husain (peace be upon him) said:
Be aware of befriending with rebellious ones; those that render assistance to the oppressors and desist from being in the company of the sinners.
More so fear their sedition and distance yourself from their arena. (Tuhfal uqul, pg: 260).

16- Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) said:
Fear telling lies; both the little and greater ones at the time you are serious or when you are joking because when you tell little lies you will have the got to tell the greater ones.

17- It was said to Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) that: who is the most dangerous person? He (peace be upon him) said: he who doesn’t see the world to be dangerous to himself. (Tuhfal uqul, pg: 285).

18- Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) said:
Three things rescue the believers: to keep his tongue from people and from backbiting them; to busy himself with what will benefits him in this world and the world hereafter; and lengthy weeping for his mistakes. (Tuhfal uqul, pg: 290, hadith: 30).

19- Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) said:
Looking at the face of a believer by another believer with affection and love is regarded as worship. (Tuhfal Uqul, pg: 304).

20- Ali bn Husain (peace be upon them) said:
He that is not having a wise man to guide him has perished. (Bihar al-Anwar, vol: 78, pg: 159).
