Hazrat Zainab (AS) and her vision of Karbala

The most important lesson learnt from Hazrat Zainab (AS) is how to see Karbala and Ashura beautiful. Sometimes for the sake of a calamity in life, grief and sadness prevents a human to see other dimensions of a very sad event. The delicate point here is that Lady Zainab (AS) could see the advantages her brother and his followers had against their enemies and this made her vision of Karbala. She could see that her brother and his followers were the most pious, bravest as well as the most steadfast in worship and love of Allah. Hazrat Zainab (AS) and Imam Hussain (AS) were part of a unique family that history has never seen.
A family that the Grandfather is the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), the father Hazrat Ali (AS), the mother Hazrat Zahra (AS), the brother Imam Hassan (AS) and all of these holy personalities were living together at a particular time which in itself is a miracle. So Lady Zainab (AS) was raised in such a unique environment which shaped her vision and outlook towards the world’s events and calamities. The truth behind absolute beauty can only be reached through the way of divine love and Hazrat Zainab (AS) is the way to reach that absolute beauty. In reply to Yazid ibn Moa’wieh’s sarcastic remarks after the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) she replied, I do not see anything but beauty.
