The Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamadani said in Qom that the catastrophes in the Islamic world are due to deviation from Ghadeer and its message. He added that the tragedy is that Shia Islam so far has remained unknown. The Grand Ayatollah believes that Ghadeer has also remained unknown and it is time that it is introduced to the entire world in a proper manner. He explained that the religion has many dimensions including economical, social, cultural and political. After Prophet (PBUH) the enemies were determined to exclude Ahlul Bait (members of the Prophet’s household) from the main stream Islam.

The Grand Ayatollah Nouri said deviation from the path of Islamic leadership (Imamate) after the passing away of the Prophet of Islam led to Omayyad and Abbasid dynasties to come to power. He pointed to the fact that currently a massive anti-Shia campaign is underway and the enemies do not wish Shia school of thought gain any power whatsoever. The Shia killings and destruction of the holy shrines by Wahhabis/Takfiris show their total misunderstandings about Islam and Shia school of thought. The Grand Ayatollah Nouri stressed that Ghadeer is the continuation of the prophecy of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and added that using Nahjul Balagha is the best way to introduce Ghadeer.
