“O ye who believe! When ye are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room: (ample) room will Allah provide for you.” 1
To Respect You 2

I entered the mosque. It was prayer time and no one was there but the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his descendants). I went straight to him. When he saw me, he moved as if the mosque were crowded and he wanted to give me a place to sit. I said, "May I be your ransom! There is a lot of room in this big mosque, why did you change your place?" The Prophet (Peace be upon him and his descendants) said," It is an obligation for ever y Muslim to give his place to someone who wants to sit beside him as a sign of respect."
