Unknown persons attacked Imam Sadegh (AS) and Imam Baqer (AS) Mosques in Salmabad and Alnowaiderat areas in Bahrain and caused damages to these holy places. Ali Hassan Saleh the caretaker of Imam Sadegh (AS) Mosque said this is the second time the Mosque has been attacked.

In 20 June 2013 unknown persons also attacked the Mosque whilst breaking everything they could find, wrote sectarian insults on the walls. One member of Human Rights Watch in Bahrain said Imam Baqer Mosque has also been attacked before. Meytham Al-Salman added that the neighbours said bullets were fired at Mosque whilst doors and windows were broken. According to Bahraini Al-Wasat newspaper Salman said respect must be paid to all places of worships.
