The number of Palestinian pilgrims will be reduced from 4500 to 3600. The Saudi Hajj Ministry declared a 20% deduction in the number of all pilgrims and said this is due to safety concerns whilst the expansion projects are underway in Bait-ul-Haram. According to Al-Shams radio news association the Saudi authorities said the number of Omra pilgrims in the month of Ramadhan will also decrease by 20%.
