Saleh Al-Ghamedi a well-known Wahhabi cleric and Imam of Qoba Mosque in Medina allowed drinking urine of rebels from the so called Syrian Free Army and Al-Nosrah group and said drinking their urine will cleanse the sins.

In an interview with the Saudi’s Wesaal Television, Alghamedi reiterated his Fatwa and said acting on the Fatwas issued by the Saudi scholars is Wajeb and added that this world is a passage and believers and especially for those fighting in Syria is a test where Mujahidin by drinking urine can wash away their sins. According to Al-Hadith News Association this Saudi cleric also commented on the Fatwa of Nekah in Syria and said many people criticised it but there is nothing wrong with it and is based on belief and I approve this Fatwa.
