According to studies published by ‘minute digital’ the number of Muslims in Spain has reached 1.6 million. 1.1 million of the Muslims have entered Spain from other countries and the rest are native Spaniards.

According to Al-Wadi News, studies by the Islamic minorities’ society showed that the Muslims in Spain are mainly from the following countries. More than 700000 from Morocco, 79000 from Pakistan, more than 63000 from Senegal and 62000 from Algeria. The studies show that about 1177 Mosques have been built in Spain.
